The capillary method measurement showed that the test item meelted within a temperature range and was melted completely at 237°C.

Under the consideration of the results from the thermal stability (ambiguous onset), the DSC measurements and the capillary method it was concluded that the test item melted wihtin a range of 230 - 237°C.

The melting point of the test substance is in the range 230 -237°C.
Executive summary:

The melting point of the test item was determined according to EU Method A.1 and OECD Guideline 102. First of all, the melting point was determined by using the diferential scanning calorimetry (DSC). To confirm the the results of DSC, the capillary method was performed.

Under the consideration of the results from the thermal stability (ambiguous onset), the DSC measurements and the capillary method it was concluded that the test item melted wihtin a range of 230 - 237°C.
