PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
PBT assessment does not apply
Justification:

According to Annex XIII of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 a PBT and vPvB assessment shall not be conducted for inorganic substances. Zinc didocosanoate is an inorganic metal salt; thus, a PBT and vPvB assessment is not required. However, zinc didocosanoate consists of zinc cations and docosanoate anions. The latter are readily biodegradable and not bioaccumulative, and thus not PBT.
