First-aid measures

- General advice:
Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist. Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.
- Following inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.
- Following skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected skin with water and soap. If symptoms persist,
consult a doctor. Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected skin with water and soap. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
- Following eye contact: Protect unharmed eye. Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If easy to do, remove contact lenses.
Seek medical treatment.
- Following ingestion: Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water. DO NOT induce the patient to vomit. Seek medical treatment.
- Most important symptoms and effects: No further relevant information available.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.
Extinguish with carbon dioxide, dry chemical, waterspray or foam.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: In case of fire, the following can be released: Carbon monoxide (CO), CO2, Sulfur oxides
Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in case of fire.

Advice for firefighters
· Protective equipment: Fire fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus
(SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positive pressure mode.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Provide sufficient air flow. Wear protective equipment.

- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Use personal protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.
- Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
For small spills add absorbent (soil may be used in the absence of other suitable materials) scoop up
material and place in a sealed, liquid-proof container for disposal. For large spills dike spilled material
or otherwise contain material to ensure runoff does not reach a waterway. Place spilled material in an
appropriate container for disposal.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling: Intermediate to be used under strictly controlled conditions according to REACH-Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (Article 18)
Provide sufficient air flow/ air extraction in the workplace.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Information about fire - and explosion protection: No special measures required

Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles:
Keep tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Store only in unopened original receptacles.
Unsuitable material for receptacle: aluminium.
Unsuitable material for receptacle: steel.
Suitable material for receptacles and pipes: Plastic.
Suitable material for receptacles and pipes: Stainless steel.

Information about storage in one common storage facility:
Store away from foodstuffs.
Store away from oxidising agents.

Further information about storage conditions:
Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed receptacles.
Store container in a well-ventilated place.
Avoid contact with air / oxygen.
Storage period 24 months.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Control parameters
Ingredients with limit values that require monitoring at the workplace: The product does not contain any relevant quantities of materials with critical values that have to be monitored at the workplace.
Additional information: The lists that were valid during the creation were used as basis.

Exposure controls
Intermediate to be used under strictly controlled conditions according to REACH-Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (Article 18)
Personal protective equipment/ General protective and hygienic measures:
The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals.
Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing
Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
Do not eat or drink while working.

Respiratory protection: Not necessary if room is well-ventilated. Wear respiratory equipment in case vapours and aerosols are emitted. Type: ABEK-filter

Protection of hands:
Protective gloves
The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product.
Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the product.
Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation
The protective gloves to be used must comply with the specification of EU directive 89/686/EC and the resultant standard EN374. The above given information is based on laboratory test in line with EN374.
The recommendation is only valid for the supplied product and the stated application. Special working conditions, like heat or mechanical strain, which deviate from the test conditions, can reduce the protective effect provided by the recommended glove.

Material of gloves
Hand protection: Wear suitable protective gloves (e.g. gloves of rubber or PVC ).
The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Recommendation: contaminated gloves should be disposed of.
Penetration time of glove material
The exact breaktrough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.
The determined penetration times according to EN 374 part III are not performed under practical conditions. Therefore a maximum wearing time, which corresponds to 50% of the penetration time, is recommended.

Eye protection: Tightly sealed goggles, EN 166

Body protection: Protective work clothing

Stability and reactivity

1. Reactivity : No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
2. Chemical stability Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition if used according to specifications.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions : Hazardous polymerization does not occur.
4. Conditions to avoid : No further relevant information available.
5. Incompatible materials : Oxidizing agents
6. Hazardous decomposition products: During thermal decomposition formation of:
Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide
Sulphur oxides (SOx)
Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Nitrogen oxides

Disposal considerations

Product residues and uncleaned empty containers should be packaged, sealed, labelled and disposed of or recycled according to relevant national and local regulations. Where large quantities are concerned, consult the supplier. When uncleaned empty containers are passed on, the recipient must be warned of
any possible hazard that may be caused by residues. For disposal within the EC, the appropriate code according to the European Waste List (EWL) should be used. It is among the tasks of the polluter to assign the waste to waste codes specific to industrial sectors and processes according to the European
Waste List (EWL).

European waste catalogue
It is not possible to determine a waste code for this product in accordance with the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) since it is only possible to classify it according to how it is used by the customer. The waste code is to be determined within the EU in liaison with the wastedisposal operator.

Uncleaned packaging:
Recommendation:
Packagings that may not be cleansed are to be disposed of in the same manner as the product.
Disposal must be made according to official regulations.

Recommended cleansing agents: Water, if necessary together with cleansing agents.
