Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the surface tension of the test substance was established at 29.0 mN/m.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the surface tension of the test substance using ring method according to EU Method A.5 similar to OECD Guideline 115. The two samples were prepared by dissolving the test substance into water at 1 g/L. The test solutions were conditioned for 0.5 h in an ultrasonic bath and tempered at 20°C. The solutions were light cloudy. Then the automatic measurement was initiated. The average of 6 single measurements was determined per solution. In this case the total measuring time was more than 3000 s per solution. Arithmetic mean was corrected by calibration factor determined via water calibration. Under the study conditions, the surface tension of the test substance was established at 29.0 mN/m (Kintrup, 2017).
