Classification & Labelling & PBT assessment

PBT assessment

Administrative data

PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

It can be stated that the substance does not fulfill the PBT criteria (not PBT) and not the vPvB criteria (not vPvB).

Persistence

The substance is not readily biodegradable. As no further data on (a)biotic degradation is available, the substance is considered to be ”vP (and P)”.

Bioaccumulation

The test substance is considered not bioaccumulative based on a low log Kow of ≤4.5 of the main constituent and the two main impurities. This is further supported by the available non-guideline bioaccumulation in fish study. The substance may therefore be considered to be “not B/vB”.

Toxicity

For the substance the lowest NOEC value is 25 mg/L as determined in aquatic algae. Further, there is no evidence of CMR properties or chronic toxicity as specified in REACH Annex XIII. Therefore, the substance is assessed to be “not T”.
