Description of key information
No toxicity data on adverse effects on sexual function and fertility with zinc dipropionate are available, thus the reproductive toxicity will be addressed with existing data on its two individual moieties zinc and propionate, respectively propionic acid.
Zinc dipropionate is not expected to impair sexual function or fertility, since the two moieties zinc and propionate are not considered to have respective effects.

Description of key information
No developmental toxicity study with zinc dipropionate is available, thus the reproductive toxicity will be addressed with existing data on its two individual moieties zinc and propionate.
Zinc dipropionate is not expected to impair the developemnt of the offspring, since the two moieties zinc and propionate are not considered to have respective effects.

Justification for classification or non-classification
As the two moieties of zinc dipropionate are not considered to impair sexual function, fertility or the development of the offspring, zinc dipropionate in all probability does also not have reproductive toxic effects.
According to the criteria of REGULATION (EC) No 1272/2008 and its subsequent adaptations, zinc dipropionate does not have to be classified and has no obligatory labelling requirement for reproductive toxicity.
