Results
Preliminary test
No burning. Therefore, the preliminary screening test is negative.
Main test:
Omitted due to result of preliminary test.
Interpretation of the results
According to the result of the preliminary test the test substance is not considered as a flammable solid. The result does not lead to a classification.
Description of key information
In the preliminary screening study, the test substance did not support combustion, therefore the main study was not conducted and the test substance does not fulfill the criteria for classification as a flammable solid.
The substance has no pyrophoric properties and does not liberate flammable gases in contact with water.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Flammability:
- not classified
Additional information
According to the result of the preliminary test the test substance is not considered as a flammable solid.
Based on chemical structure pyrophoric properties and flammability in contact with water are not to be expected.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The available data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. As a result the substance is not considered to be classified for flammable gases, liquids, aerosols, self heating and pyrophoric properties and as emitting flammable gases in contact with water under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the tenth time in Regulation (EU) No 2017/ 776.
