Melting and Boiling Point (DSC)

The test item showed an endothermic effect in the temperature range of 50 – 170 °C. In the temperature range of 270 – 400 °C an exothermic effect with a mean energy release of -70 J/g could be observed.

During the heating an endothermic effects was detected, which can be assigned to the drying of the test item (wt. water 9.17%). No melting or boiling of the test item was detected up to its decomposition starting at a temperature of approximately 270 °C.
