- Executive summary:
The explosive properties of the test material were investigated in a study which was conducted under GLP conditions and in accordance with the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria: Part I: Classification procedures, test methods and criteria relating to explosives of Class 1.
In the Koenen test, the result was considered “negative” and the substance has shown no effect on heating under confinement as the limiting diameter was less than 1.0 mm. In the Fallhammer test, the result of the test was “negative”. And in the BAM friction test, the result of the test was “negative”.
The test material is therefore not considered to be explosive and is not considered to be too dangerous to be transported in its tested form.

- Explosiveness:
- non explosive
Additional information
The explosive properties of the test material were investigated in a study which was conducted under GLP conditions and in accordance with the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria: Part I: Classification procedures, test methods and criteria relating to explosives of Class 1. The study was awarded a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).
Justification for classification or non-classification
In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex I, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, the substance does not require classification with respect to explosive properties.
