The vapour pressure of the test item was determined in accordance with OECD TG 104. The experimentally-determined vapour pressure of the test item at 20°C was not in the recommended range of 1 to 1000 mbars for DSC measurements. Therefore an estimation procedure in accordance with OECD TG 104 was used (Grain-Watson method). This method is applied for vapour pressures between 10E03 to 10E-07 mbar. The estimated vapour pressure is <= 1.3 Pa at 20 °C and <= 15 Pa at 50 °C.

A measured vapour pressure is available for Phosphoric acid, C4 and C12-14(even numbered) alkyl esters. Since this substance contains alkyl chain lengths that are generally lower than the substance itself, this measured result is considered to be more representative of the likely vapour pressure of the substance (and quite likely a worse-case) and is adopted for exposure assessment.
