Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing Media

Extinguish with carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, foam or waterspray.

Fire/Explosion Hazard

Combustion or thermal decomposition will evolve toxic and/or irritant vapours (for exemple COx, HCl).

Fire Fighting Protective Equipment

Evacuate the area. Firefighters should use self-contained breathing equipment and protective clothing and gloves to avoid inhalation and contact with skin and eyes.

Other

Dike fire control water for later disposal. Disposal should be in accordance with local, state or national legislation. Contain effluent and prevent effluent from entering sewers and waterways. Contain the goods or any materials used in fire fighting.
