PERSISTENCE ASSESSMENT
The registration substance is readily biodegradable in an OECD 301B CO2 Evolution test (see IUCLID Chapter 5.2.1). Therefore the 'P' criteria for the PBT / vPvB Assessment is not fulfilled.
BIOACCUMULATION ASSESSMENT
The registration substance has a measured log Kow=0.95 (see IUCLID Chapter 4.7). Therefore the 'B' criteria for the PBT / vPvB Assessment is not fulfilled.
TOXICITY ASSESSMENT
In toxicity tests for the aquatic compartment on fish, daphnia, algae and microorganisms no hazard was identified up to 100 mg/L.
Therefore the 'T' criteria for the PBT / vPvB Assessment is not fulfilled.
CONCLUSION
The substance is not PBT or vPvB.
