Results and discussion

Flash point
Key result
Flash point:
> 110 °C
Atm. press.:
ca. 98.8 kPa

Any other information on results incl. tables

The certified calibration standard gave a flash point of 74.6°C corrected for atmospheric pressure, which was within the specification. No flash point was observed up to a corrected temperature of 110.6°C. Therefore the flash point of Bernel Ester TCCis >110°C. The atmospheric pressure at time of testing was measured to be 98.8 kPa.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: ← Complete pick list based on CLP criteria, see below
Conclusions:
The flash point of the test substance was found to be >110 °C at 98.8 hPa, under the conditions of the test.
Executive summary:

In this guideline (EU A.9) study, [conducted with GLP certification], the flash point of the test substance was found to be >110 °C at 98.8 hPa.
