Description of key information

Acute oral toxicity studies were conducted with two TDI-I category members, Diurea 8 and Tetraurea 2. The results from these studies showed no evidence of acute toxicity up to the highest dose tested in either study (2000 mg/kg test item in arachis oil BP). There is no evidence of a relevant intrinsic acute oral toxicity requiring classification or substance specific risk management measures.

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

The oral LD50 value is greater than 2000 mg/kg bw in both studies conducted with TDI-I category members, therefore existing data supports the justification for non-classification.
