Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation
develops seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. if irritation develops seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Alcohol foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon, metal
oxide smoke and soot.

Protective equipment: Full personal protective equipment and a self-contained
breathing apparatus should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Ventilate the
spill site. Sweep up spill and transfer to labelled
containers. Dispose of by incineration in accordance with
local regulations. Do not allow spill to enter sewers and
waterways.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic
chemicals. Ensure adequate ventilation. Nitrile or neoprene
gloves, safety goggles should be worn. If necessary,
approved respiratory protection should be worn.
Storage: Store in tightly sealed containers in a cool, dark, well
ventilated place.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: These materials are usually in a steel closed head drum with
two bungs. The drum class is UN1A1/Y/1.8.
