A GLP study was conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 107, shake flask method .
The partition coefficient was determined via 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium and via acetate. The result is as follows:
-2.5 at 23°C, determined via 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium
-2.0 at 23°C, determined via acetate both at pH = 6.4 (mean of all pH values of the water phases).
This result is regarded to be reliable for 1H-imidazolium, 1-ethyl-3-methyl-, acetate.
