Description of key information

ADONA (30% solution in water) is not considered explosive (EU Method A.14, and OECD 113)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test was conducted according to EU Method A.14, and OECD 113 under GLP criteria. Therefore, this study is classified as reliable without restrictions. ADONA (30% solution in water) was heated from ambient temperature to 494 °C. No thermal effects were seen. Because the heat of decomposition was less than 500 J/g, the test on explosive properties was not necessary per Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods I Manual of tests and Criteria (ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.3). ADONA (30% solution in water) is not explosive.
