Results and discussion

Test results (Oxidising liquids)
Sample tested:
test mixture 1:1
Remarks:
1:1 w/w mixture test item and cellulose
Parameter:
mean pressure rise time
Result:
13 997 ms

Any other information on results incl. tables

45% sodium nitrate aqueous solution as reference substance was used for this study.

Cellulose was dried at 105°C and the average size of the granules was 50 μm.

The mean pressure rise time for the test reference substance mixture (1:1 w/w mixture 45% sodium nitrate aqueous solution and cellulose) was 5169 ms, while the mean pressure rise time for the test item mixture (1:1 w/w mixture test item and cellulose) was 21356 ms.

Since the time for the test item mixture was greater than that one found for the test reference substance mixture, the test item was considered to be a non-oxidiser.

Applicant's summary and conclusion
