Conclusion on classification

Based on the results of the available ecotoxicity studies on ferbam and the source substance ziram and given the fact that ferbam was assessed to be not readily biodegradable, the registered substance is classified as follows:

Aquatic acute 1 (H400: Very toxic to aquatic life) - M-factor: 10 and Aquatic Chronic 1 (H410: Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects) - M-factor 10. This classification is in accordance with the harmonised classification according to Annex VI to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation).
