Flammability on ignition

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex XI, Section 1, the study is scientifically unjustified.

The substance is produced as aqueous solution up to 30% concentration in water.

The flammability of liquids is determined on basis of their flash point (in combination with their boiling point).  Non flammable, no pyrophoricity, no flammability on contact with water, no liberation of flammable gases on contact with water are observed.

Based on flash point and boiling point the substance is a non flammable liquid.

Based on experience in handling and use and the chemical structure pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not to be expected.

The substance is stable and is on a liquid form at 20°C and 101.3 kPa according visual observation. Freezing /Melting point of the UVCB is below 160°C and the flash point is between 97°C and 110.5°C at 760mm Hg.

The registered substance is a liquid non flammable in air.

Considering these information the study needs not to be perform.
