Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

A collection of the mutagenicity data are available for category members. All found values are listed below.

EC number

Mutagenicity

S1 - EC: 918-984-3

The test substance does not induce reverse mutation on four Salmonella typhimurium strains and one Escherichia coli WP2(uvrA-) (pKM 101) strain, according to the OECD guideline n° 471 and to the method B13/B14 of the directive CE/2000/32.

S2 - EC: 927-837-2

MUTAGENIC and NON-PROMUTAGENIC under the test conditions.

Overall, the mutagenic/clastogenic activity may be excluded for the registered substance.

According to Regulation (EC) n. 1272/2008, the registered substance should not be classified for the genetic toxicity. However, because the only available data are on bacterial systems, this property is been considered as inconclusive for the classification.
