Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data

Endpoint:
boiling point
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is a solid which decomposes before boiling
Justification for type of information:
The substance is a multi-constituent of C18-C22 fatty alcohol and C18-C22 alkyl isoleucinate esters, ethanesulfonic acid salts. So it won’t have a “boiling point.” The C18-C22 alkyl isoleucinate esters, ethanesulfonic acid salts will probably not boil under any conditions. They will decompose before boiling. For example, the boiling point of the lowest molecular weight amine salt, ammonium chloride is 520°C! The lowest boiling component would be C18 fatty alcohol which has an estimated boiling point of 354°C using Episuite. So we could say the boiling point is >354°C.
