The hydrolysis study of Hatcol 3331 could not be performed due to the following:

The water solubility of Hatcol 3331 at 20.0 ± 0.8°C is < 200 µ/I (pH 7.4) according to NOTOX study 365052 ("Determination of the water solubility of Hatcol 3331 "). Due to the water solubility of Hatcol 3331, accurate determination of test substance concentrations below 100 µg/l (i. e. half of its water solubility) is required. This requirement cannot be met by the analytical method developed and validated under Notox project 364938 ("Development and Validation of an Analytical method for Hatcol 3331"). Therefore, this method is considered unsuitable for this purpose. Additionally, to our experience no alternative method can be developed for Hatcol 3331 that could successfully support the hydrolysis study.

The hydrolysis study of Hatcol 5236 could not be performed due to the following:

The water solubility of Hatcol 5236 at 20.0 ± 0.8°C is < 200 µg/l (pH 7.5) according to NOTOX study 365041 ("Determination of the water solubility of Hatcol 5236”). Due to the water solubilityof Hatcol 5236, accurate determination of test substance concentrations below 100 µg/l (i.e. half of its water solubility) is required. This requirement cannot be met by the analytical method developed and validated under Notox project 364949 (“Development and Validation of an Analytical method for Hatcol 5236”).
