The sample decomposes and discolors to a black residue; probably a melting of subcomponents. During the decomposition a geometrical change (the volume decreases) is visible. Due to this change the thermo element is not located in the centre of the test item during the whole measuring period of 24 h. Therefore the perfect temperature recording was not possible. Due to melting phenomena at temperatures < 160 °C (cf. study report no. 15 -18080, Melting Point - temperatures < 50 °C), the substance is considered not self-heating and not self-ignitable.
