Materials and methods

Test guideline
Qualifier:
no guideline followed
Principles of method if other than guideline:
Turkey poults were fed experimental diets from 0 to 21 days of age. The basal diet was deficient in sulfur amino acids. treatments included no supplemental sulfate, 0,1% (1000ppm) of K2SO4 and 0,1%% K2-MgSO4. Supplemental methionine was 0, 0.1 and 0.15%.
At day one a total of 288 poults were assigned to 36 pens. Individual body weights were obtained at 21 days of age and food consumed during the experiment was measured.
GLP compliance:
no
