Conclusion on classification

The available data gathered from the aquatic toxicity studies for the substance (or the structural analogue) are short-term data. The results are based on active ingredient: EC50(fish)>1000 mg/l, EC50(daphnia)≥1000 mg/l and  LC50(Lemna minor)=1099 mg/l. Based on the EC50 values>1000 mg/L for fish, daphnia and Lemna minor, the substance does not match the criteria for classification for short-term aquatic hazard according to CLP Regulation 1272/2008.  


Based on the results of short-term toxicity for fish, daphnia and algae (EC>100 mg/l) together with a log Kow value of -1.84 and according to CLP Regulation 1272/2008 Criteria of table 4.1.0.b) iii) it is not expected that the substance has to be classified for long-term aquatic hazard.
