Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The distribution in a sewage treatment plant (STP) has been estimated using the SimpleTreat model (implemented in EUSES 2.1.2/Chesar 3.5), see table below.

Due to the rapid to moderate hydrolysis of the constituents of the registration substance, the distribution calculations are done for the constituents and their corresponding silanol hydrolysis products.

The constituents of the registration substance hydrolyse rapidly to moderately to form the corresponding silanol hydrolysis products. The silanol hydrolysis products are not expected to undergo any significant biodegradation, have low Henry’s Law constant and low log Kow/log Koc. Therefore, water is the main compartment to which the constituents of the substance and their silanol hydrolysis products are expected to partition.
