Description of key information

In accordance with the ECHA Guidance on the Application of CLP criteria (Version 5.0, July 2017), chapter, the determination of the self-ignition temperature (applicable for solids) is not relevant for organic peroxides because the thermal stability of the substance class "organic peroxide" is quantitatively given by the SADT. OO-tert-butyl monoperoxymaleate in its marketed form has a SADT of +55 °C.
