Additional information

An animal study is not necessary because information on acute oral toxicity can be obtained based on the chemical composition of the substance. The substance is the residues of an extraction process of Hibiscus seed. The analytical report revealed that the substance contains water, ash, proteins, fat, dietary fibers and carbohydrates. It is not assumed that these substance cause adverse effects after oral intake. As a consequence, the substance is not classified with regard to acute oral toxicity.
