Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria

The 72-hour NOEC and EC50 for growth rate were determined to be 2.084 mg/L and 11.4 mg/L, respectively.

Toxicity to microorganisms

The NOEC of test item to aquatic microorganisms is 20 mg test item/L.

Additional information

Ecotoxicological endpoints are completed for the test item based on test data following standard guidelines. All data are considered to be reliable and relevant for the endpoint concerned.

Short-term toxicity to fish

The 96 -h LC50 for fish was determined to be >11.1 mg/L, based on the geometric mean measured concentration (2016) in the GLP-compliant study conducted according to OECD 203 and EU C.1 guidelines.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

The 48-hour EC50 for immobilisation of Daphnia was determined to be 24.1 mg/L (2015). The study was conducted with the test item according to OECD guideline 202 and EU C.2 method and was GLP-compliant.

Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria

Based on nominal test concetrations, the 72-hour NOEC and EC50 for growth rate were determined to be 2.084 mg/L and 11.4 mg/L, respectively (2015). This study was conducted according to a standard method and was GLP-compliant.

Toxicity to microorganisms

The NOEC of test item to aquatic microorganisms is 20 mg test item/L. The toxicity of the test item to activated sewage sludge was taken from the toxicity control of a GLP-compliant ready biodegradability Manometric Respirometry test following OECD guideline 301F (2015).
