Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to fish. No acute toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The acute toxicity to fish (rainbow trout) was tested in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 203 (Springborn Laboratories, Inc. 1998). Due to the low solubility of the test substance water accommodated fractions were used. After 96 h of exposure no effects within the range of solubility could be observed. The NOEC was determined to be at least 0.085 mg/L (measured) and the LC50 was determined to be > 0.085 mg/L (measured). The test concentration is the highest test substance concentration that could be determined by using a saturated solution. Therefore, the test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to fish.
