Biodegradation in water: screening test

The substance is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria. As the substance is an UVCB, the 10d window is not applied for regulatory purpose. Therefore, based on the result of 66 % ultimate degradation after 28 days, the substance is considered to be readily biodegradable.,

In addition, the potential of the test substance to biodegrade anaerobically was tested. After 84 days a degradation of 81.5 +/- 20.8 % was determined. The substance was judged to be anaerobic degradable.
