Description of key information

The following data were derived from EPI Suite™ v.4.11, 2012 with the prediction tool MPBPVP v1.43. For naphthenic acid, a vapour pressure of 0.317 Pa at 25 °C was reported (Modified Grain method).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.317 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Naphthenic acid is an UVCB substance and thus, the vapour pressure was determined with the most prominent structure C10 of naphthenic acid with the following SMILES notation: CCC1CCC(C1)CCC(=O)O.
