First-aid measures

INSTRUCTIONS:....................FLUSH EYES WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF RUNNING WATER FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES. HOLD EYELIDS APART TO ENSURE RINSING OF THE
ENTIRE SURFACE OF THE EYE AND LIDS WITH WATER. GET MEDICAL
ATTENTION WITHOUT DELAY. IN CASE OF SKIN CONTACT:. START
RINSING AND REMOVE CONTAMINATED CLOTHING WHILE RINSING.
WASH SKIN WITH SOAP AND WATER. IF DISCOMFORT OCCURS AND
PERSISTS, OBTAIN MEDICAL ATTENTION. IN CASE OF INGESTION:.
INDUCE VOMITING OF CONSCIOUS VICTIM IMMEDIATELY BY GIVING
TWO GLASSES OF WATER AND PRESSING FINGER DOWN THROAT, WHILE
KEEPING VICTIM'S HEAD BELOW HIPS TO PREVENT ASPIRATION OF
LIQUID INTO LUNGS. CONTACT A PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT
GIVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO A CONVULSING OR UNCONSCIOUS
PERSON. IF VOMITING OCCURS KEEP HEAD BELOW HIPS TO PREVENT
ASPIRATION OF LIQUID INTO THE LUNGS. IF INHALED,. REMOVE
VICTIM FROM FURTHER EXPOSURE AND RESTORE BREATHING, IF
REQUIRED. SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION.
NOTES TO PHYSICIAN:..............IF SYMPTOMS SUCH AS LOSS OF GAG REFLEX, CONVULSIONS OR
UNCONSCIOUSNESS OCCUR BEFORE VOMITING, GASTRIC LAVAGE WITH
A CUFFED ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED.

Fire-fighting measures

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA..............CARBON DIOXIDE, DRY CHEMICAL, FOAM. WATER FOG

SPECIAL PROCEDURES...............EVACUATE NONESSENTIAL PERSONNEL FROM THE FIRE AREA.
MATERIAL WILL NOT BURN UNLESS PREHEATED. DO NOT ENTER
CONFINED FIRE SPACE WITHOUT ADEQUATE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
AND AN APPROVED POSITIVE PRESSURE SELF-CONTAINED BREATHING
APPARATUS. USE WATER-SPRAY TO KEEP CONTAINERS COOL.

FLASH POINT (C), METHOD..........>93. (SETAFLASH)
AUTO IGNITION TEMPERATURE........N.AV.
UPPER FLAMMABLE LIMIT (% BY......N.AV.
VOL.)
LOWER FLAMMABLE LIMIT (% BY......N.AV.
VOL.)
EXPLOSION DATA
EXPLOSIVE POWER............N.AV.
RATE OF BURNING............N.AV.
SENSITIVITY TO STATIC............NO
DISCHARGE
SENSITIVITY TO IMPACT......NO

UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION.......CLOSED CONTAINERS MAY RUPTURE (DUE TO BUILDUP OF PRESSURE)
HAZARDS WHEN EXPOSED TO EXTREME HEAT. TOXIC FUMES ARE RELEASED IN
FIRE SITUATIONS.
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS....CARBON DIOXIDE. CARBON MONOXIDE. ALDEHYDES. ACIDS

Accidental release measures

LEAK/SPILL.......................PRODUCT MAY BURN, ALTHOUGH NOT READILY IGNITABLE. ISOLATE
HAZARD AREA AND RESTRICT ACCESS. TRY TO WORK UP WIND OF
SPILL. AVOID DIRECT CONTACT WITH MATERIAL. WEAR APPROPRIATE
BREATHING APPARATUS (IF APPLICABLE) AND PROTECTIVE
CLOTHING. STOP LEAK ONLY IF SAFE TO DO SO. DIKE AND CONTAIN
LAND SPILLS; CONTAIN WATER SPILLS BY BOOMING. USE WATER FOG
TO KNOCK DOWN VAPOURS; CONTAIN RUN-OFF. FOR LARGE SPILLS
REMOVE BY MECHANICAL MEANS AND PLACE IN CONTAINERS. ABSORB
RESIDUE OR SMALL SPILLS WITH ABSORBENT MATERIAL AND REMOVE
TO NON-LEAKING CONTAINERS FOR DISPOSAL. FLUSH AREA WITH
WATER TO REMOVE TRACE RESIDUE. PREVENT RUNOFF INTO DRAINS,
SEWERS, AND OTHER WATERWAYS. REPORT AS PER REGULATORY
REQUIREMENTS.

Handling and storage

HANDLING PROCEDURES AND..........AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES, SKIN, AND CLOTHING. AVOID
EQUIPMENT BREATHING VAPOURS. EMPTY PRODUCT CONTAINERS MAY CONTAIN
PRODUCT RESIDUE. FOLLOW LABELED WARNINGS EVEN AFTER
CONTAINER IS EMPTIED. KEEP CONTAINERS CLOSED OR SEALED.
WASH SKIN THOROUGHLY WITH SOAP AND WATER AFTER HANDLING.
WASH CONTAMINATED CLOTHING BEFORE RE-USE. DISCARD SATURATED
LEATHER ARTICLES. HANDLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HAZARD
POTENTIAL OF THE CURING AGENT USED. MAINTAIN A GOOD
PERSONAL HYGIENE.
STORAGE NEEDS....................STORE IN A COOL, DRY, WELL VENTILATED AREA, AWAY FROM HEAT
AND IGNITION SOURCES.

Exposure controls / personal protection

GLOVES/ TYPE...............IMPERVIOUS GLOVES (NEOPRENE).
RESPIRATORY/TYPE...........AVOID BREATHING VAPOUR AND/OR MIST. A NIOSH/MSHA JOINTLY
APPROVED RESPIRATOR IS ADVISED IN THE ABSENCE OF PROPER
ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLS. USE EITHER AN ATMOSPHERE-SUPPLYING
RESPIRATOR OR AN AIR-PURIFYING RESPIRATOR FOR ORGANIC
VAPOURS.
EYE/TYPE...................CHEMICAL SAFETY GOGGLES. FACE SHIELD
FOOTWEAR/TYPE..............NO SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS.
CLOTHING/TYPE..............WEAR IMPERVIOUS PROTECTIVE CLOTHING.
OTHER/TYPE.................EYE BATH AND SAFETY SHOWER. FOR OPERATIONS WHERE CONTACT
CAN OCCUR, USE A FACE SHIELD, IMPERVIOUS BODY COVERING, AND
BOOTS.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS.............VENTILATE ADEQUATELY. LOCAL EXHAUST AT POINTS OF EMISSION.
MAKE-UP AIR SHOULD ALWAYS BE SUPPLIED TO BALANCE AIR
EXHAUSTED (EITHER GENERALLY OR LOCALLY).

Stability and reactivity

CHEMICAL STABILITY:
YES........................YES
NO, WHICH CONDITIONS?
COMPATABILITY WITH OTHER
SUBSTANCES:
YES
NO, WHICH ONES?............AVOID CONTACT WITH STRONG OXIDIZING AGENTS, LEWIS OR
MINERAL ACIDS. STRONG BASES. AMINES

REACTIVITY CONDITIONS?...........REACTION WITH CURING AGENTS IS EXOTHERMIC; SMOKE OR TOXIC
FUMES MAY BE EVOLVED IF HEAT OF REACTION BECOMES EXCESSIVE
DUE TO HIGH CURING TEMPERATURE OR CURING OF LARGE MASSES OF
MATERIAL.
HAZARDOUS PRODUCTS OF............THERMAL DECOMPOSITION MAY YIELD:. CARBON MONOXIDE, CARBON
DECOMPOSITION DIOXIDE. ALDEHYDES AND ACIDS.
HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION.........WILL NOT OCCUR

Disposal considerations

WASTE DISPOSAL...................WASTE MANAGEMENT PRIORITIES (DEPENDING ON VOLUMES AND
CONCENTRATION OF WASTE) ARE: 1. RECYCLE (REPROCESS), 2.
ENERGY RECOVERY (CEMENT KILNS, THERMAL POWER GENERATION),
3. INCINERATION, 4. DISPOSAL AT A LICENCED WASTE DISPOSAL
FACILITY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO COMBUST WASTE ON-SITE.
INCINERATE AT A LICENCED WASTE DISPOSAL SITE WITH APPROVAL
OF ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORITY.
