Description of key information

All studies were conducted according to national and/or international guidelines.

6.1.1 Short-term toxicity to fish: No effect were observed on Salmo gairdneri and Danio rerioThe 96h-LC50 value for both fish species is greater than 10 000 mg/L, the highest tested nominal concentration.

6.1.3 Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates: No effect was observed on Daphnia magna. The 48h-EC50 value is greater than 936 mg/L, the highest tested mean measured concentration.

6.1.5 Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria: Treatment related effects were observed on Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata in the highest test concentrations. The 72/96h-ErC50 value based on growth rate is greater than 86 mg a.i./L, the highest tested measured concentration but the 72h-NOEC based on growth rate is determined at 33 mg a.i./L (measured concentrations).

6.1.7 Toxicity to microorganisms: The test substance showed 4% respiration inhibition of activated sludge at the highest test item concentration of 10 000 mg/L. The 3h-EC50 is greater than 10 000 mg/L, the highest tested nominal concentration.
