Additional information

A GLP study was conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals 114 "Viscosity of liquids" using a capillary viscosimeter for determination of the kinematic viscosity and the dynamic viscosity was calculated by multiplication of the kinematic viscosity with the density. The GLP study determined the kinematic viscosity to be 1460 mm2 /s at 20 °C and 244 mm2/s at 40 °C. The dynamic viscosity was calculated to be 1450 mP*s at 20°C and 239 mPa*s at 40°C.

This was supported by a non-GLP study which was conducted using a Ubbelohde viscosimeter for determination of the kinematic viscosity and the dynamic viscosity was calculated by multiplication of the kinematic viscosity with the density. The study determined the kinematic viscosity to be 924.4 mm2 /s at 25 °C and 251.1 mm2/s at 40 °C. The dynamic viscosity was calculated to be 916.6 mP*s at 25°C and 246.4 mPa*s at 40°C.

The results from the recent GLP study were chosen as key value for the viscosity.
