Description of key information

Adsorption/ desoprtion:PETRORISK model (version 7.04) predicted a log Koc to be between 2.69 and 14.7.

QSAR predictions of adsorption/ desorption of HFO have also been provided to support the read-across from HFO to registration substance.

Distribution modelling:

The model predicted the distribution of the substances to be as follows: 0.03 % to air, 0.01 % to water, 46.2 % to sediment, and 53.7 % to soil.

Additional information

Substance is a hydrocarbon UVCB. Standard tests for this endpoint are intended for single substances and are not appropriate for this complex substance. However, the endpoints are characterized using quantitative structure property relationships for representative hydrocarbon structures that comprise the hydrocarbon blocks used to assess the environmental risk of this substance with the PETRORISK model (version 7.04). Computer modelling is an accepted method for estimating the Adsorption/ desoprtion and environmental distribution of chemicals.
