Additional information

Reaction mass of 2-hydroxyethyl laurate and ethylene dilaurate is a multi-constituent substance with a mono-and a di-ester component. Both components have a low vapor pressure (0.018 and 0.153 Pa at 25 °C, QSAR) while the log Pow values range between 4.31 and 10.23 (QSAR). The substance is rapidly biodegradable and will be quickly eliminated in sewage treatment plants and the environment in case of release. Due to rapid biodegradation of the substance, primary degradation via hydrolysis is not considered as a main degradation process. Evaporation and the subsequent transport via the atmospheric compartment is not expected due to the low vapour pressure. Furtheron the substance has a low water solubility of 3.51 mg/L.
