Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The BENZYL ISO EUGENOL solubility in water at 20 ± 0.5 °C based on the mean of the two determinations with the column elution method was 0.670 mg/L.
Executive summary:

A study was performed to assess the water solubility of the test item BENZYL ISO EUGENOL by the column elution method.

This method is based on the elution of the test item with water from a micro-column charged with an inert support material (celite), previously coated with an excess of the test item. The water solubility was given by the mass concentration of the eluate when this has reached a plateau as a function of time. A second experiment was performed at half the flow rate. The test item concentration was regularly measured by HPLC-DAD.

The BENZYL ISO EUGENOL solubility in water at 20 ± 0.5 °C based on the mean of the two determinations with the column elution method was             0.670 mg/L.
