Administrative data
First-aid measures
If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
In case of skin contact:
Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off with soap and water.
Consult a physician. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
In case of eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.
Remove contact lenses.
Consult a physician.
If swallowed:
If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious).
Call a physician immediately.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
Irritating to eyes.
Irritating to skin.
Sensitisation
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: Treat symptomatically
Fire-fighting measures
Water mist
Dry powder
Foam
Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Sand
Aqueous film forming foam (AFFF).
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water spray jet
Hazardous combustion products : Carbon oxides Fluorine compounds
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Firefighters must wear fire resistant personal protective equipment. In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Evacuate personnel to safe areas.
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.
Methods for cleaning up:
Large spills: Dam up. Soak up with inert absorbent material. Keep in properly labelled containers.
Small spills: Gently cover the spill with an absorbent towel or pad.
Large spills + Small spills: Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Treat recovered material as described in the section "Disposal considerations".
Environmental precautions:
Should not be released into the environment. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.
Handling and storage
To avoid thermal decomposition, do not overheat. Use personal protective equipment as required. Avoid inhalation, ingestion and contact with skin and eyes.
Hygiene measures : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Requirements for storage areas and containers : To maintain product quality, do not store in heat or direct sunlight. Store in original container. Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Store at room temperature.
Recommended storage temperature : 15 - 25 °C

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection:
Engineering controls should always be the primary method of controlling exposures. If respiratory protective equipment is needed for certain activities, the type as well as the corresponding protection factor will depend upon the risk assessment and air concentrations, hazards, physical and warning properties of substances present. Use only respiratory protection that conforms to international/ national standards. Respirator with a vapour filter ABEK
Hand protection material:
Nitrile rubber
Remarks : Impervious gloves Take note of the information given by the producer concerning permeability and break through times, and of special workplace conditions (mechanical strain, duration of contact).
Eye protection:
Tightly fitting safety goggles
Skin and body protection:
closed work clothing chemical resistant apron, coat or coverall
Protective measures:
The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Stability and reactivity
None reasonably foreseeable.
Chemical stability:
Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Hazardous reactions: No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
Conditions to avoid:
Heat, flames and sparks. To avoid thermal decomposition, do not overheat
Materials to avoid:
Strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon oxides, Fluorocarbons
Disposal considerations
Contaminated packaging : Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal.
