Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Version / remarks:
The determination of the water solubility was carried out by using the
procedure specified in Method 105 of the OECD TEST Guidelines for Testing
of Chemicals, 27 July 1995. The soluble part of the sample was analyzed by
the total organic carbon (TOC) analyzer.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The flask method from OECD TEST Guidelines 105 was chosen for the
water solubility test. The amount of the chemical dissolved in water was
analyzed by the TOC (total organic carbon). The water solubility of
Trimethyloctylammonium methyl sulphate was determined to be 436 g/L
at 20 °C after four days of testing.
