Details on results:
Preliminary Test:
The content of test item dissolved in the water sample was 2.68 mg/L.

Main Study:
The results for the samples taken at a flow rate set to 12 and 24 mL/h are given in Table 5.
The coefficient of variation (CV) (n = 10) was ≤ 30% at both flow rates. It demonstrated that the system was equilibrated at all flow rates.

The maximum difference (MD) on the mean values of the samples at both flow rates was also ≤ 30%. Based on this, the water solubility of the test item is given as the mean value of these measurements.
The turbidity of the eluates was < 0.2 NTU. According to this, no undissolved particles were detected in the eluates.

No test item was detected in the samples from the blank column. Small responses at the retention time of the test item were detected in the chromatograms of the pretreated samples from the blank column. It was considered to derive from carry-over in the analytical system since similar responses were found in the analytical blanks. The maximum contribution to the samples was 0.0040%. It was considered that it has no significant effect on the results of the test samples.
Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test substance was found to be 0.587 mg/L at 20 °C, under the conditions of the test.
Executive summary:

In this guideline (OECD 105) study, conducted with GLP certification, the water solubility of the test substance was found to be 0.587 mg/L at 20 °C.

Details on results:
Mean value Water Solubility (mg/L) : 0.537

The preliminary estimate for the water solubility of LFC 2098, suggests that the Column Elution method should be employed. This method was carried out, however, the results were not repeatable and it was decided that the Flask method for higher solubility compounds should be conducted . This method gave repeatable results and corresponds well with both the estimated water solubility of the compound and the one result gained from the Column Elution method.

Conclusions:
Mean value Water Solubility (mg/L) : 0.537
Executive summary:

In this guideline (EU Method A.6) study, conducted with GLP certification, the test substance (EC 466-080-8) was shown to have a water solubility of 0.537 mg/L
