Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Key result
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Burning time:
2 min
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

Any other information on results incl. tables

Preliminary Test:

The flame from a gas burner was applied to one end of the powder train until the powder ignited or for a maximum of 2 minutes if there is no ignition. The test was performed two times.

Main Test:

Based on the results of the preliminary test no further testing was required.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The test item could not be ignited. Therefore, the substance is considered not to be highly flammable.
Executive summary:

RESULT

In the preliminary test the test item melted and could not be ignited.

Based on the results of the preliminary test, no main test was performed.
