Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

There is no Guideline test on bioaccumulation of the substance on terrestrial organisms available. Therefore, the bioconcentration factor was estimated according QSAR models described in the Technical Guidance Document on Risk Assessment (2003). As a worst case approach a log POW of 1 is used. The BCF(earthworm) is calculated according to the QSAR developed by Jager (1998) to be 0.96 L/kg. Due to these results, the substance and its constituents are not expected to accumulate in biota.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Considering the BCF(earthworm) calculated as worst case no accumulation in biota is expected. In addition, the constituents of the reaction product (substance) hydrolyse in aqueous media. Thus, experimental determination of the bioaccumulation in aqueous media is not possible.Furthermore, direct exposure to the soil compartment does not occur. Therefore, a test on bioaccumulation of the substance or its constituents in terrestrial organisms is scientifically not justified. The available data are sufficient.
