PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

In a study according to OECD 301 E a biodegradation of 8 % was observed after 28 d. The n-octanol/water partition coefficient (logPow) of Cyclen was determined to be <-1.5. NOEC and EC10 were determined to be > 0.01 mg/L for marine/freshwater organisms. The substance is not classified as CMR and no other evidence of chronic toxicity or specific target organ toxicity is present. Thus, Cyclen is neither PBT nor vPvB.
