Conclusion on classification

Based on the results from the short and long-term studies with the test substance, C12 ADBAC and/or the read across substance C12-16 ADBAC, daphnia has been identified to be the most sensitive species with the lowest 21-day NOEC value of 4.15 µg/L. Therefore, based on the available results and considering that the substance is readily biodegradable with low bioaccumulation potential (<500), C12 ADBAC warrants classification as Aquatic Acute 1 and Aquatic Chronic 1; H410: Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects according to EU CLP criteria (Regulation EC 1272/2008). M factors to be applied are 10 for acute and 1 for chronic toxicity.
