Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eyes: Irriqate eyes immediately with copious amounts of water. Continue irrigation for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothinq and wash affected area with copious amounts of water. If signs of irritation persist, seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse out mouth with water and seek immediate medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove individual to fresh air. If breathing is difficult give oxygen. If breathing ceases give artificial respiration. If signs of toxicity occur, seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agents: Use carbon dioxide, foam or dry chemical extinguishers.
Products arising from burning or pyrolysis: Oxides of carbon and nitrogen.
Protective equipment: Standard fire-fighting equipment should be worn along with self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Protective clothing should be worn including oil impervious gloves, safety spectacles or goggles and respirator. Sweep up powder, minimising dust, and transfer solid waste to a suitable sealable container. The spillage site should then be washed with water. The spillage site should then be washed with water. Prevent run-off from entering drains, sewers and streams.
Handling and storage
Handling: oil impervious gloves should be worn as well as safety spectacles/goggles and respirator. Local exhaust ventilation may be desired.
Storage: store in sealed unbreakable containers, in a cool dry place protected from light and away from strong oxidisers.
