Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The partitioning of the substance from water to air is considered negligible and not taken into account for the CSA.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
0
at the temperature of:
12 °C

Additional information

As the vapour pressure of the substance is very low (5.9E-8 Pa at 12°C), any partitioning of the substance from water to air, as expressed by the Henry’s law constant, is considered negligible. Therefore this route of partitioning is not taken into account in the derivation of the PNECsoil and PECsoil, using the equilibrium partitioning method (EPM). As shown when the Henry’s law constant is calculated; the water solubility would need to be below approximately 1E-6 mg/L, before the calculated Henry’s law constant has any influence on the PNECsoils, calculated using EPM.
