Conclusions:
The tested material does not have oxidizing properties in accordance with test A.17 criteria.

Executive summary:

The study of determination of oxidizing properties of solids was performed according to method A.17 Oxidizing properties for solids, following the principles of GLP. No vigorous reaction was observed in the preliminary test. The main test was performed with the reference substance (barium nitrate(V)) and at least once with each one of the range of mixtures of the test substance with cellulose (from 10 % to 90 % of cellulose content). The maximal burning rate of the reference mixture pile (barium nitrate(V) and cellulose in weight ratios from 10% to 90%) was 1.82 mm/s whereas for the test item no ignition of the train was obtained for any of the prepared mixtures with cellulose. Based on this result, it is concluded that the tested material does not have oxidizing properties.
