Exposure controls / personal protection

                                                                        Personal protective equipment

a) Respiratory protection:

No personal respiratory protective equipment normally re-quired.

In the case of insufficient exhaustion/ventilation, suitable res-piratory equipment should be used.

Recommended Filter type:

gas filter type A

Follow the instructions for use issued by the producer.

b) Hand protection:

Protective gloves of:

Polychloroprene / Layer thickness 0,5 - 0,7 mm / Break through time > 480 min (level 6) / EN 374-3

Butyl-rubber / Layer thickness 0,6 - 0,8 mm / Break through time > 480 min (level 6) / EN 374

Nitrile latex / Layer thickness 0,4 mm / Break through time > 480 min (level 6) / EN 374

General recommendation: the usage time for protective gloves is approx. 50% of the breakthrough time measured in the laboratory.

Data obtained from similar substances.

c) Eye protection:

Tightly fitting safety goggles

Faceshield or goggles

d) Skin and body protection:

Wear closed work/protective clothing. When filling and refilling outside a closed system, additionally put on aprons made of polyethylene (PE).

e) Hygiene measures:

Take off contaminated clothing.

Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Stability and reactivity

Keep away from oxidising agents in order to avoid exothermic reactions.

Disposal considerations

Do not discharge product unmonitored into the environment.

Must be disposed of as hazardous waste according to the national legal regulations.
